How to draw a hot-air balloon:

Step 1: Hot air balloon is very big in size so mark the height and width of the balloon. Draw a circle with a long line passing from the center.

Step 2: Draw a small line on the long line and draw a diagonal line from it joining towards the outer wall of the circle.

Step 3: Draw one more horizontal line and a small rectangle as a hook and another cube attached to it for the basket.

Step 4: Draw flatten oval inside the circle covering the width of the circle, draw another 2 ovals at the lower end.

Step 5: Draw longitudinal lines going towards the upper part from the lower end.

Step 6: Shape the upper part with small curved lines. Attach the basket with the 4 strings with the hoop.

Step 7: Shape the upper part of the oval into small curves, also shape the lower part with ovals and the basket.

Step 8: Darken the lines and the outlines of the drawing. Add few shades and the clouds in the sky.

Step 9: Erase all the guidelines and the lower part of the ovals and contour the drawing.

How to draw a hot-air balloon for kids:

Step 1: Draw a small oval, and start drawing a curved line in an upward direction from both the ends and form a big oval on the top or a bulb shape. Ten further draw a curved line in the lower part.

Step 2: Draw 4 lines from the oval coming out for the rope and joining them with the small flat line.

Step 3: Draw 2 curved lines attached with the rectangles. Draw clouds around the balloon using the number of curved lines in a random manner.

Step 4: Draw many long curved lines intersecting them with 2 horizontal curved lines so that stripes of the balloon formes. You can decore it with the other pattern also, only by drawing horizontal or vertical lines.
