How to Draw Basketball Step By Step

Hello kids…! we are here again with how to draw Basketball tutorial for all the game lovers, kids, and novice. Basketball is a game that originated in America, It is a widely played sport in the world.

It is famous among the youngster as it needs high energy. A Sports teacher in the college of America designed this game to entertain the athletes in the winters.

They used soccer ball to play basketball for the first time and only one point was during the entire game. Hope you all are ready to put your head into this tutorial. This tutorial going to help you in improving your games related drawing skills. During any game there no scope of the mistake but here you can, so get ready with your erasers, with the pencil and paper. Use any type of colors you wish to try on.

How to draw a player with Basketball:

Step 1: As we are drawing a player trying to goal for a basketball, thus mark the height and width accordingly. Draw an oval for the head and overall body guidelines with simple lines as we did a similar depiction for armor drawing.

Step 2: Draw a ball in the left hand with the circle, draw the torso and the neck.

Step 3: Add features to the face and hand using simple lines, draw guidelines for the shoes.

Step 4: Draw both arms following the guideline drawn in the first step, in this step outline the leg as shown in the image below.

Step 5: In this step define the player’s face and shoulder. Add guidelines to the muscles and draw socks.

Step 6: Following the body guidelines draw the outline of clothes.Draw fingers on the palm, and details of shoes.

Step 7: In this step work on the whole image, draw lines to show the folds of clothes, curved lines in the basketball, facial expressions as eyes, nose.

Step 8: Your player with basketball is ready, just outline your drawing with the marker or pencil.

How to Draw a Basketball Court

Step 1: Draw a double outlined box shape as shown in the image below.

Step 2: Inside it draw a square box as below.

Step 3: Draw a curve around the square for the attached to rings.

Step 4: From this step draw double-lined parallel line for the fiber of the net. It will depict the front portion.

Step 5: In this step draw the cross net in the other direction from the last one drawn. Your hoop for

Step 6: Draw a big circle above the net pening.

Step 7: Outline the whole basketball net and ball with a dark pencil.

How to draw a basketball:

Step 1: Draw a circle with the 2 intersecting lines.

Step 2: Draw a curve from above the horizontal line to the other side of the line.

Step 3: Draw another curve facing the vertical line.

Step 4: Draw another curve below the horizontal line as shown in the image below.

Step 5: Draw the same curvy line in the opposite direction, outline the whole drawing color it with your choice or orange.
